Artists Bio:
She is a self-taught artist, specializing in watercolor paintings of animals, birds and nature. With family ties in both the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire, her watercolor paintings are inspired by her surroundings, particularly the mountainous areas of northern Vermont and New Hampshire. Her attention to detail and her illustrative technique are the hallmarks of her artwork. Her art comes from a passion for and love of the natural world. She is drawn to create art of the creatures we share our world with so we will remember them and in the hopes that her work will inspire people to stay connected to our wild places.
Jeanette’s work hangs in private collection throughout New England and beyond and has been accepted in numerous regional and national exhibitions, including with the nationally acclaimed Society of Animal Artists and as a finalist in the Animal/Wildlife category of The Artist’s Magazine Annual Competition. She is the recipient of numerous awards and her art can be found at the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville, VT, The Gallery at WREN in Bethlehem, NH and the Copley Society of Art in Boston, Mass.
She is an Associate member of the Society of Animal Artists, Signature member of the Vermont Watercolor Society, Signature member of the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Copley Society of Art and the American Watercolor Society.
