The Vermont Watercolor Society relies on and encourages volunteers to carry out its mission and to meet the needs of our organization. We are very fortunate to have an active volunteer membership. Thanks to all volunteers for contributing time and talent to activities that keep our organization strong, grounded, and growing.

Event Announcements Volunteer

  • This volunteer position is responsible for emailing event announcements to identified news carriers (regional newspapers, radio stations).

  • The purpose is to invite the public to join our exhibitions and demonstrations. The goal is to promote VWS through publication announcements of our events in regional newspapers and radio stations. 

  • All materials are already developed such as a press release template and a list of regional news carriers.  No prior experience needed.

  • Email capability is required.
