Artist’s Bio: Hartford, Vermont, based artist Kathryn Peterson briefly studied art and photography at American River and Ventura Colleges in California. Kathryn works in acrylics, graphite, watercolors, inks, mixed media, and photography. Most recently, Kathryn returned from a five-year stay living and working in West Africa. “My travels have inspired and influenced my journey as an artist. I love the adventure, sights, sounds, tastes, and vibes traveling gives.” She started painting after a 38-year hiatus from a career in advertising, media, and foreign service.

I am a visual storyteller. It’s a conversation and a deep connection with the world around me. The topics change, as do the colors and media.
