Artist’s Bio: Throughout my school years I was encouraged by many art teachers. But the dads in my neighborhood wore suits and carried briefcases on their way to work. None of them were heading to the studio. So, I pursued a career as an engineer, never forgetting the deep pleasure of splashing paint.

Now I paint every day and have sought formal training from Thomas Schaller, Don Andrews, and Robert Willis. I have studied figure drawing under Rick Graham and Stan Prokopenko and increasingly include figures in my watercolor compositions. My artistic inspirations evolve, but I've always been moved by the work of Franz Marc, Andrew Wyeth and Bo Bartlett.

I have participated in the following artist residencies: Vermont Studio Center (2014), Xochi Qetzal, Chapala, Mexico (2015), Dorland Art Colony, Temecula, California (2016), Green Olive Arts, Tetouan, Morocco (2023). Working closely with other artists never fails to expand my artistic world and my circle of friends.

I am very grateful to have a passion for this art form and believe that its possibilities are infinite.
